Simonit&Sirch Pruning method applied to Guyot trained vineyards already in production

In the on-demand lessons, Carlo will guide you through the fundamental concepts for starting to apply Simonit&Sirch Pruning method in Guyot trained vineyards, pruned using the crown head and repositioning cut techniques.

After an analysis of the consequences of pruning techniques, we will introduce the objectives to be pursued.

We will then turn our attention to how to start the conversion in winter with pruning, or in spring with the shoot selection.

We will then see, step by step, the conversion pathway for 2-3 consecutive years and go into variables and case studies.

This will be followed by the ‘MasterClass’ videos, in which Marco Simonit will illustrate the practical application in various case studies.

The total duration of the Guyot Vine Pruner Advanced 2 course videos is approximately 3 and a half hours.
